We, us, or our refers to Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique.
You or your refers to the person purchasing goods or services from us.
Garment or goods means any item purchased from Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique.
The Terms
By purchasing goods from Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique, you are entering a legally binding contract and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, as well as any additional terms agreed upon in writing. These terms apply to all departments including bridal, bridesmaid, flower girl, prom and evening wear, and accessories.
You may only buy goods and services from Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique for personal, non-business reasons.
The Garment
A made-to-order garment is any item that is not purchased ‘off the peg’ and must be ordered by us from a designer or supplier. The size ordered is based on the largest body measurement; therefore, alterations are typically required. Once an order has been accepted and the deposit paid, any changes requested may incur an additional charge.
The repair or cleaning of any stains or damage that occurs during fittings, try-ons or handling is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Sample sale pieces are sold as seen, are non-transferable, and non-refundable.
Ordering, Payments & Charges
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon ordering any garment. This deposit cannot be transferred to another item or service. The remaining balance must be paid in full two months prior to the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Once a price has been quoted, the deposit paid and paperwork signed, a binding order will be in place. Orders will not be released until payment is made in full.
If payment is not made when due, and remains unpaid after seven (7) days of a reminder, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your order.
The price quoted at the time of order does not include any additional charges that may arise from alterations, changes to the design, or adjustments due to weight loss, weight gain, or pregnancy.
Cancellation and Legal Enforcement: Refunds are not given under any circumstances once an order has been placed. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you are legally contracted to pay the outstanding balance in full. If payment is not received, Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings to recover the owed amount, including any associated legal costs.
Ownership of Goods
All goods remain the property of Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique until payment has been made in full.
Timing
We will provide an estimated timescale for delivery during the order process. Unless a fixed date is agreed in writing, goods will be delivered within a reasonable period, taking into account supplier timelines. Goods that are not in stock typically take up to six months to arrive, and may take longer during busy periods.
If required within six months, a “rush order” fee will apply, payable on collection.
It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure their order is placed with sufficient time for delivery and fittings prior to their event.
We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If such a delay occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect. However, we will not be liable for delays caused by events outside our control.
Collection of Goods
Once your dress has arrived, we will contact you to arrange a collection appointment. Garments must be collected within two (2) weeks of arrival. A storage fee of £1 per day will apply after this period.
If you do not collect the goods as arranged, we will contact you for further instruction. If, after reasonable efforts, we are unable to reach you or arrange collection, we may terminate the contract and retain any payments made.
Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique accepts no responsibility for any damage, deterioration, or loss to garments once they have been collected. Please note that variations in fabric shade and texture may occur between samples and finished garments; this is beyond our control.
Storage and Liability
Once garments are collected, Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique is not liable for any damage, creasing, or discolouration caused by transport, storage, or handling after collection. Dresses held at the boutique beyond the collection period are stored at the customer’s own risk.
In the unlikely event of damage or loss caused by fire, flood, or theft while on our premises, reimbursement will be limited to the retail cost of the garment.
Fittings & Appointments
All fittings and consultations are strictly by appointment only. Clients must attend scheduled fittings punctually. Missed or delayed appointments may cause postponement and are not the responsibility of Forever Dreams Bridal & Prom Boutique.
Fitting Disclaimer: We cannot be held responsible for garments not fitting due to changes in body shape, size, or measurement after the initial fitting. Any additional work required will be charged accordingly.
Final Fitting Sign-Off: Once a client signs off a garment at the final fitting, the boutique accepts no further responsibility for alterations or condition.
Alterations
It is normal for bridal, bridesmaid, prom, evening wear and flower girl dresses to require alterations to achieve a perfect fit. We offer an in-house alterations service at an additional cost.
We are not responsible for alterations carried out by third-party seamstresses, whether or not they were recommended by us.
Fitting Attendance
Clients must attend their own fittings or authorise another individual in writing to attend on their behalf. Decisions made by authorised representatives will be considered final.
Photography & Marketing Consent
With your consent, we may take photographs or short video clips during your appointment for promotional purposes, including social media, website, or marketing material. We will always ask permission before capturing or sharing identifiable images.
Communication
All communication regarding orders, payments, and changes must be made in writing (email is acceptable) to ensure clarity and record-keeping.
Care Instructions
After collection, it is the customers responsibility to store garments appropriately. We recommend keeping dresses in a breathable garment bag, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
Force Majeure (Events Beyond Our Control)
We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, natural disasters, illness, or pandemics.
Complaints & Resolution
We are committed to providing a high standard of service and care. If you have any concerns about your garment or service, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may address the issue promptly.
